The exhibition opened at California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA) in October 2017, then travel to Sonoma State University later that month, and finally to California State University, Chico in January 2018, where it will remain until March 2018. Revolutionizing the World: The Russian Revolution at Its Centenary uses visual artifacts generated by the seismic events of 1917 to tell the story of progressive ideas in the modern world.

The conference, "The Wider Arc of Revolution: The Global Impact of 1917," in commemoration of the hundred-year anniversary of the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917, will be held under the auspices of the Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies at University of Texas, Austin, on October 27-28, 2017. The conference will feature two keynote speakers (Sheila Fitzpatrick and Lisa Kirschenbaum), and will consist of a series of panels convened over the course of two days in which we will discuss pre-circulated papers submitted by participants.
The Festival of American and Iberian Culture "Discovery Day" will be held at the Library for Foreign Literature M.I. Rudomino on October 7, 2017.

Conference to be held at the Institute for Black Atlantic Research (IBAR), University of Central Lancashire, Preston, Great Britain, 13-15 October, 2017 to mark the centenary of the Russian Revolution.
On June 21-23 the V International Conference in Memoriam Professor Leonid Andreev “Facets of the ХXth Сentury: Literature and Revolution-2017” took place at the Philological Faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University. At the conference sessions, presentations on American studies and Soviet-American contacts were broadly represented.
